What to expect: During these classes the classical Pilates exercises will be modified to make a safe, effective and enjoyable form of exercise for both during and after your pregnancy.
Classes will focus on strengthening the muscles that are weakened during your pregnancy.
The classes are small and friendly, mixed ability classes, where everybody is welcome regardless of fitness level or previous Pilates experience. The exercises performed are a contemporary approach to the original exercises taught by Joseph Pilates himself. They are a series of exact and controlled movements that lengthen and strengthen the muscles simultaneously.
Results and Benefits: Pilates is a whole body workout which will improve your strength, flexibility and muscle tone.
Pilates can also help to improve your posture as it rebalances the body by working opposing muscle groups evenly and includes exercises which move the body through all planes of movement.

What to Wear: All equipment is provided so there is so need to bring anything other than yourself. However, many people like to bring their own mat and a bottle of water with them.
You will want to wear something that is comfortable and easy to move in. It is also a good idea to wear layers as some exercises will work you harder than others.
You do not need sports shoes as the exercises are performed wearing socks or barefooted.
